Dr. Heather Fetzner, DVMOriginally from Rochester, New York, our Chief of Staff Dr. Heather Fetzner has always had a strong passion for animals of all kinds. She began her studies at the State University of New York at Brockport, completing a BS degree in Biology and Minor in Chemistry in 2005. After being accepted to Purdue University's School of Veterinary Medicine, she successfully earned her DVM degree in 2010.

While attending Purdue, Dr. Fetzner was honored with the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM) Award for Clinical Excellence in Cardiology and inducted into the Society of Phi Zeta, the National Honor Society of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Lindsay Sardina, DVMDr. Lindsay Sardina was born and raised in Perry, New York. She received a Bachelor of Science degree with a Minor in Art History from Canisius College in 2006. In 2010, she received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine on the beautiful Caribbean island of St. Kitts.

After obtaining her veterinary degree, Dr. Sardina moved back to Western New York where she has worked as a small animal veterinarian for the last six years before coming to Lancaster Small Animal Hospital in 2015. She enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine with a special interest in surgery, dentistry and pain management.

Miguel Diaz, DVMDr. Miguel Diaz joined the Lancaster Small Animal Hospital team in October 2018. He grew up in Ponce, Puerto Rico, but now calls Orchard Park, New York his home. Dr. Diaz earned an undergraduate degree from PUCPR Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico before pursuing a DVM degree from Ross University. Previously he has practiced veterinary medicine in Puerto Rico and Buffalo, New York. His special interest is in veterinary surgery, especially orthopedics, ultrasonography, and exotic pet medicine.

Dr. Diaz's has a beautiful young teenage daughter, Alanna; a wonderful baby boy, Roman; and an amazing wife, who is also a veterinarian, Dr. Kimberly Meisner. Their menagerie of pets includes two dogs, Mia and Luna, and two cats, Passoa and Oscar. In addition to spending time with his family, Dr. Diaz enjoys golf, sports, movies, and cheering on the Chicago Cubs!
