Kimberly Dusza, DVM with DogA Buffalo native, Dr. Kimberly Dusza, our Chief of Staff, was born and raised in the Cheektowaga-Depew area of Western New York and wanted to be a veterinarian since she was 5 years old. After graduating from Villa Maria Academy in 1984, she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Ithaca College in 1988. She then elected to pursue studies in large animal medicine and husbandry and received a Master of Science degree from Clemson University in Animal Breeding and Genetics in 1990. She then completed her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at the University of Georgia in 1994, where she developed a passion for small animal and exotic medicine and surgery.

Originally from Rochester, New York, Dr. Heather Fetzner has always had a strong passion for animals of all kinds. She began her studies at the State University of New York at Brockport, completing a BS degree in Biology and Minor in Chemistry in 2005. After being accepted to Purdue University's School of Veterinary Medicine, she successfully earned her DVM degree in 2010. While attending Purdue, Dr. Fetzner was honored with the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM) Award for Clinical Excellence in Cardiology and inducted into the Society of Phi Zeta, the National Honor Society of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Lindsay Sardina was born and raised in Perry, New York. She received a Bachelor of Science degree with a Minor in Art History from Canisius College in 2006. In 2010, she received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine on the beautiful Caribbean island of St. Kitts.

After obtaining her veterinary degree, Dr. Sardina moved back to Western New York where she has worked as a small animal veterinarian for the last six years before coming to Lancaster Small Animal Hospital in 2015. She enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine with a special interest in surgery, dentistry and pain management.
